The business is a “flexible line of products,” according to Rihanna, that are made to fit different types of hair textures.
The singer Rihanna launched the skincare and makeup brand Fenty Beauty, and on Tuesday she revealed that the brand will also include hair care products. In an Instagram video, the singer referred to the business as a “flexible line of products” made for different types of hair textures.
When Fenty Beauty, in collaboration with LVMH, debuted in 2017, it upended the cosmetics market with a foundation collection that had 40 hues and a strong message of inclusivity. Today’s beauty market is more cutthroat, and the brand’s hair line will have to contend with fierce competition from other textured hair upstarts, such as singer Beyoncé’s Cécred hair care line.
