Sai Silks Kalamandir increases its retail base with a store in Madurai.

Sai Silks Kalamandir Ltd. (SSKL), an ethnic garment retailer, has expanded its retail presence in South India by opening a new store in Madurai, Tamil Nadu.
The Kancheepuram Varamahalakshmi Silks store, located on Mattuthavani main road, will provide superior ethnic sarees and handlooms for wedding and special occasion wear.

Premium sarees available at the store include kancheepuram silk sarees, banarasi, patola, kota, paithani, organza, kuppadam, ikkat, bandhani, and many others.

In a statement, SSKL’s managing director, Prasad Chalavadi, said, “We are delighted to strengthen our retail footprint in southern India by opening our 12th store in Tamil Nadu.”. This demonstrates our commitment to Tamil Nadu in achieving much-needed growth by increasing our footprint in the state’s ever-expanding ethnic wear market.”

“We believe in the potential of the Tamil Nadu market, and with this store opening we are further establishing ourselves in this dynamic region,” according to him.

SSKL operates four different formats of stores: Kalamandir, Mandir, Varamahalakshmi Silks, and KLM Fashion Mall. It also sells through e-commerce channels such as websites and marketplaces.
