From lively blooms to manual looms, Weaving tales where heritage resumes. Speaking of stories, tales, mythology and reigns, Still alive in weaver’s soul and veins.

Crafting beauty across the land, Knotting tradition with today’s strand. Connecting ages with the art, Adorning to stand apart.

Through countless hours and a dedicated heart, The handloom weaves its timeless art. In every thread, a legacy spun,  By artisans whose work is never undone.

For each state from the North to South, The handloom weaves it uniquely loud. With local tints and historic shades,  Distinct qualities that craftsmanship pervades.

Looms weave the warmth for North,  Pashmina shawls of unrivaled worth. Kullu and Kinnaur shawls with geometry right, All woven in colours bold and bright.

Banaras brocade jewels the bride, With trellis, buti, paisley, and floral pride. Hiranya vastra as epics pronounce,   Crafted intricately in tradition’s ounce.

Handcrafting calm for the west, Kota Doria for scorching summer zest. Checkered Sujani and Tangalia of Gujarat, Kinkhab gleams in woven gold art.

Weaving through the maharashtra state, Himroo, paithani, Karvat Kati echo their tales. Enriched by architecture of temple and fort, Maheshwari fabric roar the lore.

Named after the state of Gwalior Kings, Chanderi fabric with elegance sings. Muslin, Jamdani, Tangil from east, Sheer beauty with strength to feast.

Baluchari unfolds vivid scenes, Of Ramayana, Mahabharata epics it screens. Warriors, heroes, love stories it casts,

Memsahibs with hookah and carriages of Nawabs. Manchester of Assam weaves silken dreams,  Mekhla Chadar in bright red and cream. With nature’s symbols and due care,  Drape of serene beauty rare.

In the realm of Venkatagiri’s loom, Hand-woven with silk and cotton bloom. With motifs akin to Jamdani’s weave, Reflecting Velugoti dynasty’s royal sleeve.

Kanjeevaram, thick silk with silver and gold, Originated by Markanda’s descendants told. Opposite to this light Narayanpet weaves, Where checks and nature dyes blend in harmonious sheaves.

Many more styles the handloom weaves, Varieties as many as one can reach. Painting surroundings on fabric with skill, Expressions of past and present still.

The weavers as designers, not mere hands, Crafting dreams, shaping cultural strands. Today they face a dire decline, To a legacy carried by generations divine.

Globally spreading the cultural essence, Sustainability with timeless presence. For handloom is more than just a hand weaving art, It’s living history, heritage and a vital part.
