In celebration of Earth Day, Lions Public School, in partnership with Blooming Yards, hosted Dhara Mahotsav 2025—a hands-on plantation campaign that brought together students, educators, and parents to plant a wide variety of native and fruit-bearing trees on campus.
The initiative aimed to deepen environmental awareness among young learners while enhancing the school’s green cover. Saplings of mango, orange, chiku, guava, jamun, pear, lemon, pomegranate, and flame vine were planted, many of which were donated by individuals passionate about sustainability. The Blooming Yards team supported the plantation efforts, ensuring each sapling was thoughtfully placed.
What stood out was the heartfelt participation of students who brought plants from home. Wearing handmade green crowns, they actively engaged in planting, embodying the spirit of Earth Day and symbolizing their role as future stewards of the environment.
Principal Ms. Dipinder Kaur noted, “Seeing our students so connected to nature was truly inspiring. Dhara Mahotsav turned into a real-time sustainability lesson.”
Ajay Poonia, Founder of Blooming Yards, added, “The joy on children’s faces as they planted was the biggest reward. With each plant, we grow both nature and consciousness.”
Dhara Mahotsav 2025 was more than just a green initiative—it was a living lesson in care, community, and environmental responsibility.
