Excitement fills the air as Victoria’s Secret, the renowned US-based brand, opens its inaugural beauty store in Mumbai. Situated in Inorbit Mall Malad, this exclusive outlet showcases Victoria’s Secret’s personal care, sleepwear, and accessories lines. The announcement, made by Apparel Group India Private Limited on LinkedIn, marks a significant milestone for the brand in the Indian market.

The store’s design is captivating, featuring an open façade adorned with two large digital screens displaying clips from recent brand campaigns. The interior is bathed in Victoria’s Secret’s signature blush pink hue, creating an inviting and immersive shopping experience for customers.

Victoria’s Secret entered the Indian market in 2021 through a strategic partnership with the Indian arm of the Middle East-based apparel retail giant Apparel Group. Initially launching with an e-commerce platform for beauty, fragrance, and accessories, the brand expanded its presence in 2022 with the inauguration of its first brick-and-mortar store in Mumbai, showcasing its iconic lingerie line.

The latest addition to Victoria’s Secret’s physical presence comes as part of the brand’s continued expansion efforts. In the third quarter of the 2024 financial year, the brand opened four new stores, including locations in Pune, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru.

Established in 1977 by brothers Roy and Gaye Raymond, Victoria’s Secret has grown to become a global fashion icon, boasting a retail presence in 70 countries worldwide. The opening of the beauty store in Inorbit Mall not only adds a new dimension to the brand’s offerings but also reinforces its commitment to providing a diverse and immersive shopping experience for its customers in India.
