Unirec, the sustainable fashion brand, is making waves with its latest collaboration with Netflix to introduce a licensed merchandise collection inspired by the new film ‘The Archies’. The collection, available for both men and women, stands out for its commitment to sustainability by utilizing RPET fabric, crafted from recycled plastic bottles. The CEO and founder of Unirec, Kapil Bhatia, expressed excitement about the collection’s launch, emphasizing the brand’s dedication to raising awareness about sustainability, particularly among the youth.
The licensed collection features an array of graphic round-neck t-shirts and hoodies adorned with retro-inspired graphics that capture the essence of ‘The Archies’. With sizes ranging from extra small to 3XL, the garments are carefully crafted from a blend of cotton and RPET fabric, ensuring both style and eco-friendliness. Notably, Unirec has chosen fabrics designed for the Indian climate, catering to both comfort and environmental consciousness.
Taking their commitment a step further, Unirec has initiated a green initiative – for every garment sold from ‘The Archies’ collection, the brand pledges to plant a tree. This aligns with their broader mission of contributing to environmental conservation and sustainability. The pricing of the collection is accessible, starting from Rs 999 for t-shirts and Rs 1,999 for hoodies, making sustainable fashion more inclusive.
Currently available on Unirec’s direct-to-customer e-commerce store, the brand has plans to expand the reach of ‘The Archies’ collection across various multi-brand e-commerce platforms. Unirec aims not only to provide stylish and eco-conscious apparel but also to inspire individuals to be part of the movement towards a more sustainable world.
