Global Japanese retailer UNIQLO today opened its
first high street store in New Delhi. With a promise of making LifeWear available to as many
people as possible, the newest store is located at Connaught Place, New Delhi. The store
introduces a brand new shopping experience for customers with its thoughtful designs,
high-quality and functional products that are made for all.
After expanding its retail footprint in the North by successfully launching two stores in
Lucknow and Chandigarh earlier this year, UNIQLO Connaught Place, New Delhi is the brand’s

th store in India.

UNIQLO Connaught Place, New Delhi
The UNIQLO Connaught Place store, located in the inner circle of this landmark shopping
destination of New Delhi, is set against a historic building and measures close to 8,000 sq. ft.
of sales area across three levels. The store features natural light on the first floor through the
skylight.
To celebrate the opening, UNIQLO will be offering exclusive offers to early shoppers on
season’s bestseller Fleece jackets and Flannel shirts. These special offers can also be availed
on APP downloads.
In addition, the new store will also feature UNIQLO India’s Good Neighbourhood Guide, which
highlights the hidden gems of local neighborhoods. The initiative also showcases local
community efforts and brings them to the attention of all our customers. In association with
LBB (Little Black Book), UNIQLO is pleased to present specially curated illustrations by Artist
Aditya Raj encapsulating the iconic spots in Connaught Place, showcasing everyday living in
the heart of the city. This artwork is displayed inside the store and will form a part of the overall
store experience.
The store features UNIQLO LifeWear, apparel inspired by life’s need for thoughtful and
timeless clothing. Available in a variety of colours and styles for people of all ages, this
apparel comes from the Japanese values of simplicity, quality and longevity.
It also offers the entire range of Fall and Winter products for men, women and kids, such as
its innovative and functional Ultra Light Down (ULD), HEATTECH garments and Recycled
fleece , as well as products featuring premium fabrics such as flannel, cashmere, lambswool
and merino. Customers can also find UNIQLO’s essential items such as easy care rayon,
denims, fine cloth shirts and smart ankle pants.
