According to a business statement on Tuesday, the founders of the direct-to-consumer (D2C) footwear firm Trase, located in Delhi, have successfully repurchased their brand from the roll-up company Upscalio.

“Trase was a labor of love and passion to build.” Thanks to Deep and Mohit Bajaj’s angelic assistance, we were able to repurchase Trase. Jitin Goel and Dhruv Gupta stated, “We’re now focused on growing the brand and are hopeful about reclaiming our top position in the market within this fiscal year.

Under the direction of Jitin Goel and Dhruv Gupta, Trase, which was founded in 2016, saw growth and by 2020, it was fully self-funded and had achieved an exceptional annual recurring revenue (ARR) of 18 crore. Later, in 2021, Upscalio purchased Trase as part of its plan to develop a diverse portfolio of utility category businesses. However, a joint decision to divest the brand was made with Trase’s promoters.
