Fashion powerhouse Tommy Hilfiger has joined forces with Chinese streetwear brand Clot to unveil an exclusive Lunar New Year collection, celebrating the Year of the Dragon. Named ‘Tommy X Clot’, this 23-piece collection made its debut at Shanghai Fashion Week, combining iconic pieces from Tommy Hilfiger’s archives with the dynamic flair of Chinese youth culture, creating a fusion of East-meets-West symbolizing strength, luck, and success associated with the dragon.

The collection includes standout items like a reversible bomber, a red tracksuit, and an updated rugby shirt featuring classic and nylon stripes. Adding unique design elements, there’s a crew neck adorned with a dragon print, representing fearlessness and strength.

The accompanying campaign captures the essence of community, belonging, and optimism during Lunar New Year celebrations globally. Centered around a group of friends establishing a new home abroad, it follows their chosen family as they forge new traditions in New York, their adopted city.

Tommy Hilfiger expressed, “This is a collection for those celebrating the Year of the Dragon worldwide. A colorful and lively tribute to the creative spirit sparked when different cultures converge and push each other forward.”

The collaboration also marks Clot’s 20th anniversary, with founder Edison Chen sharing, “I am thrilled to lend our culture to this collection, putting its spirit and meaning into the design.”

Currently available in China on Tmall, the collection is set to launch globally on January 11th at select Tommy Hilfiger stores and wholesalers, as well as at Juice retail locations, juicestore.com, and tommy.com. The collaboration offers a stylish nod to Lunar New Year festivities and cross-cultural creativity.
