Tod’s has collaborated with renowned Indian designer Rahul Mishra to create an unexpected new trilogy of iconic products for the latest chapter of Tod’s Factory, the Italian luxury brand.
Mishra will interpret the brand’s legendary Tod’s Gommino moccasin, which will be unveiled during a soirée in the house’s Old Bond Street flagship on Friday, September 13, the first day of London Fashion Week.

Mishra is well-known for his exuberant use of traditional Indian embroidery, which he has skillfully incorporated into gold, beige, and black Gomminos.
The Indian designer has also created a new collection of Tod’s Di bags. The new clutches have gold threading, glass beading, fabric flowers, and sparkling parrots. All very raj n roll for the fall. And in his third act, Mishra takes on Tod’s Timeless accessories, which range from Maharajah-worthy men’s shoes to gilded Rajasthani women’s purses.
Tod’s Factory was founded in 2018 by Tod’s CEO Diego Della Valle as a creative laboratory where established and rising designers are invited to provide a fresh perspective on Tod’s DNA and famous legacy.
Previously, Tod’s Factory collaborations have included Alber Elbaz, Alessandro Dell’acqua, and Ryo Kashiwazaki, the founder of Japanese brand Hender Scheme.
