In collaboration with multi-brand beauty shop Sephora, skincare company Biossance has entered the Indian market. There are currently 14 Biossance products available both online and at Sephora’s physical stores in India.

On August 1, Sephora posted on Facebook, “Biossance is now exclusively available at Sephora in India.” “With every Biossance purchase, get a complimentary travel-sized bottle of vitamin C rose oil (a $1,600 value). Available online and at all Sephora locations.

Eye creams, face oils, toners, lip balms, face serums, and other Biossance products are now offered in India. The company’s goods are completely vegan, and its packaging is straightforward and ingredient-focused.

The California-based company uses biotechnology to create its skincare products, and it has attracted backing from billionaire Bill Gates. According to Biossance’s Facebook page, the key ingredient in most of its products, squalane oil, effectively moisturises while preserving a healthy skin barrier. The parent firm of Biossance is Amyris, which was established in 2003. The company manages a range of personal care brands, including women’s health brand Menolabs, skincare brand Terasana, haircare brand JVN, and beauty brand Rose Inc.
