Bhumi Pednekar wore a Grace Ling ensemble at the GQ Most Influential Young Indians Awards on April 25. The ensemble had a cropped white leather jacket and a draped pillar skirt with a silver lower-back plate that resembled a sculpture. With Christian Louboutin shoes and a Grace Ling “Butt bag,” Chandini Whabi accessorized her seductive ensemble. Pednekar knotted her hair loosely so that a few strands hung over her face. The star used metallic eyeshadow on her winged eye and pink-kissed cheeks for her makeup. Designer Grace Ling, who is based in New York, is well-known for her sculptures that wrap the body and her 3D-printed metal pieces. Ling builds her clothing using techniques including CAD, CGI, and 3D printing. The ensemble that Pednekar donned is from the designer’s Square Spring/Summer 22 collection. Avant-garde sculptors and painters such as Rothko, Fontana, and Kazimir Malevich served as inspiration for it.

Similar body-baring outfits have been seen on Pednekar in the past. The performer is renowned for her outlandish wardrobe selections and is frequently spotted playing around with her look. These are some previous outfits she has worn that confirm this. Pednekar keeps pushing the envelope and experimenting with her style, as seen by her tiered ruffle Bloni number and her puffy blue torso-baring Maximilian Raynor ensemble.
