The celebration of diversity takes center stage at LuLu Fashion Week in Kochi.

Kochi’s Lulu Mall played host to a spectacular fashion event that saw a wide range of clothing brands present their summer 2023 collections on the runway. The event was presented by Levis, in association with Flying Machine, and the event organisers announced the successful completion of it in a press release. The event kicked off on April 26th and was inaugurated by Sargam Kaushal, the winner of the Mrs. World 2022 title.

In addition to clothing brands showcasing their forthcoming collections, the fashion show also featured a ‘Runway of Special Talents.’ This special showcase included eight specially-abled models who graced the runway with their exceptional talent and beauty. The show was choreographed by Sarath Chandran, and it went a long way in celebrating the beauty and talent of those who are often overlooked by society.

During day three of the event, design institute the National Institute of Fashion Technology held a showcase of student design work to promote the innovative ideas of young designers. The final day of the event saw celebrities Vivek Oberoi and Sunny Leone in attendance, adding to the glitz and glamour of the show.

“The LuLu Fashion Week of 2023 was a grand celebration of inclusivity and diversity,” the event organisers announced proudly in their press release. They went on to state how the event celebrated all forms of talent, showcasing the beauty and creativity of various individuals that makeup society.
