Texworld Apparel Sourcing Paris is set to bring together more than 1,000 international exhibitors from 31 August to 2 September 2026 at the Paris-Le Bourget Exhibition Centre, offering buyers a broad view of the evolving global textile and apparel sourcing landscape.
The 59th edition brings together Texworld Paris, Apparel Sourcing Paris and Avantex, covering fabrics and raw materials, finished garments and fashion accessories, and technologies focused on building a more sustainable and high-performing fashion industry. The event reflects a sourcing market increasingly shaped by supply chain diversification, quality, flexibility, competitive pricing and innovation.
Texworld Showcases International Textile Expertise
Texworld will feature more than 500 textile manufacturers and weaving companies from around ten countries, including China, Türkiye, Korea and India. The exhibition will place particular emphasis on technical expertise, craftsmanship, product differentiation and responsible sourcing.
The Initiatives area will further showcase textile excellence through demonstrations and themed presentations, bringing together innovative developments, traditional craftsmanship, technical textiles, sustainable materials and student creativity.
Apparel Sourcing Reflects Changing Global Supply Strategies
With more than 500 garment and fashion accessory manufacturers, Apparel Sourcing Paris continues to reflect the diversification of international sourcing strategies. China, India, Bangladesh, Pakistan and the Euro-Mediterranean region remain key sourcing markets, while near sourcing is gaining importance as brands seek greater proximity and improved supply chain control.
The Near Sourcing Hub, developed with FourSource, will bring around 30 companies from Türkiye, Serbia, Romania and Portugal together, combining physical collections with digital access to additional suppliers. The format is designed to support shorter lead times, closer supplier relationships and improved sourcing efficiency.
The show will also introduce expanded sourcing categories, including a Jewellery & Leather area, a dedicated Outdoor zone and clearer identification of denim finished products.
Avantex Puts Technology and Sustainable Innovation in Focus
Avantex will bring together around 30 exhibitors showcasing sustainable materials, traceability solutions, artificial intelligence, industrial optimisation, circularity and emerging business models. The platform will connect manufacturers, start-ups, investors and brands through conferences, workshops and networking opportunities.
The Texpertise Focus AI x SPOTT showcase will explore the growing role of artificial intelligence in fashion, while exhibitors will present solutions spanning AI-powered textile inspection, technical textiles, recycled materials, circular design and responsible supply chains.
Start-ups and Circularity Take Centre Stage
The Avantex Fashion Pitch will highlight start-ups developing solutions aimed at the long-term transformation of fashion. Finalists will present their projects before an international jury, with winners receiving opportunities including exhibition space, funding and access to fashion industry networks.
The event’s wider conference programme will address fashion trends, emerging materials, regenerative textiles, artificial intelligence, sustainability, changing professional skills and regulatory developments. The Threading Circularity Forum will focus on repair ecosystems, product longevity, local resources and the reinvention of European value chains.
Overall, Texworld Apparel Sourcing Paris 2026 reflects a global textile industry moving towards more diversified sourcing, stronger traceability, near sourcing, sustainable materials, AI-driven solutions and circular business models.
