The mall is all set to host ‘Ballimaaraan’ on 4th February, 2023. ‘Ballimaaraan’ is a band curated by famous actor, music director, scriptwriter, director and poet Piyush Mishra. The band is a musical homage to the doyen of Urdu poetry, Mirza Ghalib, paying tribute to the lanes of Delhi where the bard once lived. Formed in the year 2016, the band has given mesmerizing performances in many cities across the country and gained popularity with its breathtaking performances on songs like Aarambh Hai Prachand, Husna, Uth Ja Bhau, and many more. The songs performed by Ballimaaraan are an amalgamation of various emotions and genres of music with the lyrics penned by Piyush Mishra himself.

Actor Piyush Mishra has dedicated more than 2 decades to theater and had well established himself as an actor, scriptwriter and lyricist. He has also received accolades for his performances in movies like Maqbool and Gangs of Wasseypur. A graduate from National School of Drama (NSD) the artist started his career as a theater actor and went on to write and direct several plays as a part of Act1 group. Later he joined Asmita Theater group where he performed his popular one man shows – An evening with Piyush Mishra.
