Textile Sourcing Meet ’24 Concludes Successfully with Dignitaries from Leading Associations

Delhi, India – The highly anticipated Textile Sourcing Meet ’24 (TSM) organized by SOWTEX in collaboration with Noida Apparel Export Cluster (NAEC) , Garment Exporters & Manufacturers Association (GEMA), Okhla Garment & Textile Cluster (OGTC), Sourcing Consultants Association (BAA), and Confederation of Indian Textile Industry (CITI), concluded on a triumphant note at Hotel Holiday Inn, Mayur Vihar, Delhi Noida Border. The event witnessed the presence of esteemed dignitaries from the collaborating associations, who graced the grand inauguration ceremony.

The opening ceremony and keynote speech were attended by distinguished guests, including Mr. Raj Kumar Malhotra, Chairman, Northern Region, FIEO (Federation of Indian Export Organisations), Ex-Chairman EPCH, Mr. Lalit Thukral, President of NAEC (Noida Apparel Export Cluster), Chairman IIGF, Northern Head AEPC (Apparel Export Promotion Council), Mr. Vijay Jindal, President of GEMA (Garment Exporters & Manufacturers Association), Mr. Vishal Dhingra, President of BAA (Sourcing Consultants Association) & Mr. Anil Peshawari, Executive Member OGTC (Okhla Garment & Textile Cluster) & Sonil Jain, Co-founder & CEO of Sowtex Network.

TSM ’24 proved to be a significant milestone for the sustainable sourcing industry in India, providing a dynamic platform for networking, sourcing options, trend workshop By Fashion Snoops, panel discussions, one-on-one buyer meetings, and expert sessions. The event successfully highlighted the immense potential of Indian sustainable textile material suppliers and the value chain.

Throughout the event, textile and trim manufacturers had the opportunity to engage with fashion buying agents, exporters, decision-makers, and sourcing heads from the NCR region. The second day of TSM ’24 featured the Textile Sourcing Conclave, offering pre-planned one-on-one sourcing meetings, facilitating meaningful business interactions and closures.

One of the highlights of TSM ’24 was the captivating panel discussions on “Exploring Sustainable Material Sourcing for Businesses.” Industry experts shared valuable insights and innovative strategies for businesses to embrace sustainable sourcing practices. The discussions provided attendees with practical knowledge and actionable steps to integrate sustainability into their sourcing processes.

In a commendable initiative, SOWTEX, the organizer of TSM ’24, also provided an entrepreneurship opportunity to students of Satyam Fashion Institute under the “earn while you learn” platform.
