Stäubli will present solutions for denim, Jacquard weaving and technical textiles, focusing on productivity, reliability and automation across Asia’s weaving industry.

Stäubli is expanding its support for Asia’s weaving industry with advanced textile technologies. Its solutions cover weaving preparation, Jacquard systems, frame weaving and technical textiles.

At ITMA ASIA 2026, Stäubli will showcase its technologies at Booth D05 in Hall 3. The display will feature innovations that help weaving mills improve efficiency, fabric quality and machine reliability.

The applications cover a wide range of products. These include PCB fiberglass fabrics, denim, premium Jacquard fabrics and three-dimensional technical textiles. In addition, Stäubli combines machine performance, automation and lifecycle services to meet the changing needs of textile manufacturers.

Advanced Weaving Solutions for High-Volume Production

Asia’s weaving industry faces growing demands for higher output, consistent fabric quality and reliable operations. At the same time, manufacturers are looking for greater automation and less downtime.

Stäubli’s technologies help mills maintain stable production and achieve consistent results over long production runs. At ITMA ASIA 2026, visitors can explore solutions for faster weaving preparation, precise shedding and flexible patterning.

Furthermore, the company supports manufacturers across China and Asia through local expertise, technical services and global application knowledge.

Weaving Preparation Systems

Stäubli will present the SAFIR PRO S37, an automatic drawing-in system for filament yarns and demanding weaving applications. Its yarn-handling and automation features help improve preparation efficiency and maintain consistent quality.

The company will also showcase the MAGMA automatic warp-tying machine. This system handles coarse and technical yarns and offers both single- and double-knot capabilities. It also features optoelectronic double-end detection. Together, these functions support flexible and reliable warp changes across demanding applications.

Advancing Jacquard Weaving Across Asia

Stäubli’s Jacquard portfolio covers configurations from 80 to 25,600 hooks. These systems combine precision, reliability and advanced control technology. As a result, they support a wide range of fabric structures and designs.

The SX PRO Jacquard system with harness will be among the featured solutions. It supports applications such as terry fabrics, apparel, upholstery, tapestry, silk fabrics and technical textiles.

Stäubli will also display the N4L PRO. This system allows manufacturers to weave brand names directly into fabric selvedges. Therefore, it can add value to premium fabrics.

Optimised Shedding Solutions for Weaving Mills

Stäubli’s frame-weaving technologies support high-speed industrial production. They also help mills maintain stable shedding, fabric quality and reliable operations.

The S1628 cam motion supports air-jet and rapier weaving. It delivers efficient shedding at mechanical speeds of up to 1,200 rpm, depending on loom parameters and the application.

Stäubli will also present two rotary dobby systems:

  • S3018 rotary dobby: Supports rapier and air-jet looms at speeds of up to 650 rpm. For water-jet looms, it supports speeds of up to 740 rpm.
  • S3060 rotary dobby: Designed for air-jet weaving applications, with speeds of up to 800 rpm.

These systems meet the needs of mills seeking reliable performance and efficient production across different loom technologies.

Customer Success Story: JIEDE Textile

JIEDE Textile is a large-scale denim producer based in Guangdong Province, China. The company manages spinning, dyeing, weaving and finishing. It has an annual denim fabric production capacity of 100 million metres and develops high-quality denim for customers worldwide.

Since adopting Stäubli solutions, JIEDE Textile has reported better production efficiency and stability. Its Stäubli dobbies operate reliably at high speeds. As a result, the company has reduced downtime and fabric defects while improving consistency between production batches.

JIEDE Textile currently operates 430 Stäubli S3060 rotary dobbies. This demonstrates the system’s use in large-scale denim manufacturing.

Ms. WANG Lihua, General Manager at JIEDE Textile, said: “For us, Stäubli is more than an equipment supplier. It is a key technology partner. From solution design to ongoing service, they support us throughout the entire lifecycle.”

Advancing Technical Weaving and 3D Textiles

Demand from the aerospace, automotive, energy and industrial sectors is creating new opportunities for advanced weaving technologies. These industries also need high-performance composite materials.

Stäubli brings more than a decade of experience in industrial 3D weaving. The company has developed its TF platform into a modular, configurable weaving system. This design allows manufacturers to adapt to changing products, materials and applications.

At ITMA ASIA 2026, visitors can explore samples of technical fabrics made on Stäubli TF machines. These samples will demonstrate how advanced weaving systems support specialised industrial applications.

Through its broad portfolio, Stäubli aims to help the next generation of Asian weaving manufacturers improve their competitiveness. Its intelligent production technologies, automation and lifecycle services support this goal.
