Leading UK sourcing show, Source Home & Gift, is putting the spotlight on artisan producers from around the globe as it strives to bring the best manufacturers, artisan designers, and technology providers together under one roof.

From 4th -7th February 2024 at the NEC Birmingham, Source Home & Gift will connect manufacturers and artisans who pride themselves on responsible manufacturing, craftsmanship, and sustainable production, with key retailers, brands, and contractors who care about how great products are made across eight sectors including Homewares, Toys, Packaging, Stationery & Greetings, Gifts, Furniture, Textiles, and Technology & Services. Represented countries include Bangladesh, China, Egypt, Ghana, Hong Kong, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Senegal, South Africa, United Kingdom, and United States.

New for the February show, visitors will discover a host of handicrafts from Africa. Look out for the stunning hand-crafted ceramic tableware South African based Gingham Ceramics. From Ghana, Geolicrafts are committed to the desire to create jobs through the enhancement of artisanal skills and will showcase a wide collection of handicrafts including woven baskets and accessories. Liloba Collection from Senegal will present a colourful handmade collection of woven bags.

Working with 100 artists in Haiti, Beyond Borders Fair Trade has been working with and nurturing Haitian artists in Croix-des-Bouquets for fifteen years supporting real economic improvement and lives bettered through the creation and sharing of their beautiful art. They will be presenting a showcase of new designs at Source Home & Gift to showcase the artists incredible skill and handmade pieces.

Hailing from Giza in Egypt, long-established décor glass producers Alfagr will present their beautifully crafted Christmas ornaments, candle holders, gift objects, glass flower vases, candy jars, jugs and drinkware.

From India, discover Kaushalam – The Studio of Hand Painted Artisanal Products. Founded in 2012, Kaushalam is the brainchild of social entrepreneur and artist, Mrinalika Jain Bhardwaj. Driven by the aim of creating a niche in the world of art and craft, the central focus with Kaushalam has always been to revive the regional, folk, and traditional artforms of India.

Known for hand painted kettles and every kind of utensil, which are called Artensils, Kaushalam takes inspiration from the rich Indian heritage, diverse cultures, and day-to-day life. Her collection includes ethnic Indian, Indo Western and Western women’s clothing, accessories, jewellery, artisanal travel bags, and home furnishings which embrace the diversity of sustainable Indian handlooms featuring hand woven fabrics, natural colours and elegant cuts, flowing silhouettes and intricate handcrafted embroidery.

From Banasthali Kathmandu Nepal, comes N.D Handicraft, a highly experienced and renowned woollen felt handicraft manufacturer; and bringing Filipino design to the fore, Fairs and More Inc, a subsidiary of the European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ECCP), showcasing the rich heritage, incredible talent, and the forward-thinking nature of the region’s producers and artisans. With a mix of traditional fabrics, embroidery, and patterns, blended seamlessly with modern fashion trends, step into a world of vibrant colours, intricate designs, and boundless creativity, Fairs and More Inc presents Filipino companies who are championing creativity with sustainability.

Source Home & Gift is where ideas become great products and the February 2024 show looks set to deliver newness from around the world. With new emerging markets such as Senegal, Ghana and Nepal exhibiting for the first time, and over 450 manufacturers and suppliers from over 25 countries predicted to attend, February show will be its biggest to date.
