Stüssy’s train of co-designed collections is still chugging along at full speed after dishing out collaborations with brands like Our Legacy and Martine Rose earlier this year. On Thursday, Sean Paul, a Grammy-winning reggaeton musician who was born in Jamaica, and Shawn Stüssy’s label presented their joint upcoming release, which included dual-branded clothing.

The two-piece capsule, which honours the musical polymath’s 30-year career, features a picture of Paul donning a punk-style leather jacket with spikes and thick sunglasses on T-shirts in black and white hues. The T-shirts have Paul’s name and the words “Stüssy International Tribe,” which refer to the group of like-minded artists that the streetwear company has assembled.

Stüssy continues to be a pioneer in partnerships after achieving a sense of omnipresence in the fashion world with the help of its partners from a variety of different sectors. The brand has demonstrated its adaptability in the area and the culture that surrounds it with more exclusive collaborations with Dries Van Noten and Tekla, more street-focused capsule collections with Cactus Plant Flea Market, Timberland, and Denim Tears, and a regular supply of Converse and Nike crossovers. By collaborating with one of reggae’s most renowned musicians, Sean Paul, Stüssy only strengthens this emotion.

The Sean Paul collaboration by Stüssy will debut on Friday, July 21 at 10 a.m. in selected chapter stores, at Dover Street Market locations, and on Stüssy’s website in North America, the UK, Europe, Japan, Korea, and all other regions. View the selection in the gallery up top.
