Rotoris Raises ₹70 Crore in Series A Funding Led by Blume Ventures
The Indian watch brand will use the funds to boost research, expand production and grow its presence in India and overseas.
GURUGRAM, India, October 2026: Indian watch brand Rotoris has raised ₹70 crore (approximately US$8.5 million) in a Series A funding round led by Blume Ventures.
The round also included investments from 9Unicorns and Centricity. They brought in several family offices, including Diwakar Goel, Global Head of Data at BlackRock; Atul Singh, former Group President, Asia Pacific, at Coca-Cola; and Adhiraj Burman of the Dabur family. Actor and television host Rannvijay Singha also invested.
Rotoris will use the funds to support research and development (R&D), increase production and expand its Rotoris House presence in India and overseas.
Rotoris Sees Strong Demand for Its Watches
Rotoris launched its first collection of 2,100 numbered watches in February 2026. The entire collection sold out within days. Since then, nearly 100,000 people have registered for access to its watches.
Moreover, 40% of demand comes from international markets, including the US, Dubai and Australia.
The brand targets collectors who value design, materials and exclusivity. Its key collections include Manifesta and Astonia.
Manifesta features dials made from natural stones, including lapis lazuli, imperial jade, white mother-of-pearl and pietersite. As a result, every dial has a distinct look.
Meanwhile, Astonia is a 42mm chronograph made from steel, titanium and carbon. It also features a Swiss movement.
Rotoris publishes the production numbers for each collection. In addition, every numbered watch carries an individual number on its caseback and comes with its own documentation. The brand also maintains its prices.
Hand Assembly in India
Rotoris assembles and tests every watch by hand at the Rotoris Atelier, its assembly unit in India. The facility uses machinery from Switzerland.
The brand developed its assembly processes with guidance from Swiss horologists. Their careers span Patek Philippe, IWC and Tiffany & Co.
Rotoris uses Swiss and Japanese movements, depending on the collection. It also openly shares this information with customers.
Prerna Gupta, Co-founder, ROTORIS, said, “The design creates the desire, but the engineering, assembly and attention to detail earn the trust. We are building both sides of Rotoris with the same level of intention.”
Funding to Support Global Expansion
Rotoris plans to grow its presence in India and international markets. New York is also part of its expansion plans.
Aakash Anand, Co-founder, ROTORIS, said, “A ROTORIS is a symbol of ambition, worn on the wrist. Our owners have already achieved a great deal, and they are still building, still moving, still becoming. They want the one object they wear every day to carry that. Many of them live in New York, which is why Rotoris House is going there.”
Blume Ventures sees an opportunity to build an Indian watch brand with global appeal.
Karthik Reddy, Co-founder & Managing Partner, Blume Ventures, said, “Today’s ambitious professionals, wherever they live, want a watch that marks their arrival. Aakash and Prerna have already shown they can build a brand that people line up for. We are backing their vision to make an Indian brand shine amongst global icons, and the timing has never been better.”
9Unicorns has also backed the founders in an earlier funding round.
Dr Apoorv Ranjan Sharma, founder, 9Unicorns, said, “We backed Aakash and Prerna in their first round, and we are proud to back them again, alongside the family offices we brought into this one.”
Building an Indian Watch House
Aakash Anand co-founded Rotoris after building and scaling Bella Vita before completing a full exit. Prerna Gupta leads the watch brand and brings experience in premium branding, customer experience and product development.
Watches are the brand’s first product category. However, Rotoris has a broader ambition: to build a design-led house from India and earn recognition in global markets.
