The Punjab Government has officially extended the term of Shri Rajinder Gupta, Chairman Emeritus of Trident Group, as Vice Chairman of the Economic Policy and Planning Board until August 22, 2028. The extension, sanctioned by the Honourable Chief Minister, recognizes Shri Gupta’s vital role in driving the state’s economic reforms, industrial policy, and inclusive development.
Holding the rank of Cabinet Minister, Shri Gupta has been a central figure in Punjab’s economic transformation, contributing to youth employment, infrastructure upgrades, and public-private partnership models.
