Nillörn, a leader in the world of woven and printed fashion labels, has become a partner in the blueesign® system with the launch of operations in Bangladesh. Household name brands use Nilörn, which is well-known for providing a wide range of packaging solutions from a brand-building standpoint.

“Our products are shipped to over 85 countries worldwide, making us a part of extensive supply chains,” stated Anna-Karin Wårfors, Nilörn’s global sustainability manager. We are aware that acting responsibly on a global scale is necessary given such a presence. Our goal is to lead our industry in sustainability.

The secret to producing textiles sustainably is the bluesign® SYSTEM, which establishes guidelines for safe and environmentally friendly production while removing toxic materials from the process from the outset. This guarantees that the finished textile product satisfies the strict global consumer safety regulations.

Nilörn East Asia joined the bluesign® system in 2017, while Nilörn Portugal has been a partner since 2012. Wårfors said, “We are very happy to add Nilörn Bangladesh as a bluesign® system partner.” The bluesign® system ensures that products fulfill strong consumer safety requirements and are produced sustainably by using a tight audit.
