Marks & Spencer (M&S), a major retail player, is embarking on an initiative to broaden the reach of
its Jaeger brand, introducing it to an additional 20 stores across the United Kingdom. This strategic
move comes as a response to M&S’s acquisition of the luxury fashion brand in 2021, following its
financial troubles.
Currently available in 26 shops, Jaeger products will soon be accessible in nine more M&S stores
from the next month, with plans to expand to an additional 11 locations in the upcoming year. This
expansion demonstrates M&S’s commitment to enhancing its third-party fashion offerings, a step
aimed at strengthening its competitive position in the retail market, especially when pitted against
rivals like Next.
M&S’s “Brands at M&S” online platform has also been a focal point in their strategy to diversify their
fashion lineup. The recent inclusion of the lingerie brand Pour Moi on this platform, along with other
names such as Mamas & Papas, Superdry, and Crew Clothing, underscores the company’s ambition
to offer customers a broader range of options.
Furthermore, Pour Moi is set to launch additional lingerie lines, extending its product range to
include popular swimwear and beachwear lines. This expansion serves as a testament to M&S’s
ongoing efforts to cater to evolving customer preferences and provide a more comprehensive
selection of fashion offerings.
