Bluesign®, the top worldwide supplier of sustainability solutions for the textile sector, is pleased to introduce LIM Group as their first laundry system partner in Italy as part of their expanding denim effort. Bluesign® is now able to serve as a one-stop resource for LIM teams working on their denim initiatives with leading designers, luxury houses, and international labels thanks to this cooperation. As the industry leader in chemical management, Bluesign’s efforts to reduce the impact of the textile supply chain have become even more crucial in light of EU regulations like CSRD, ESPR, and CSDDD. This partnership raises the bar for clean denim production in Europe by combining the outstanding workmanship of LIM with the reliable experience of bluesign®.

LIM’s laundry, which has been owned and operated by the Stevanin family since the 1980s, has made a name for itself in the fashion sector thanks to its proficiency in denim washing and distinctive coloring methods. Additionally, LIM incorporates environmentally friendly technology such as wastewater purification systems, renewable energy-powered processes, and ozone and laser machinery. Known for its inventiveness, technical know-how, and environmentally responsible methods, LIM works with some of the most prominent luxury houses and brands in the world, including as Gucci, Valentino, Balenciaga, Dsquared2, Maison Margiela, Replay, Jacob Cohen, and Dondup.

As a leader in the denim business, LIM is well-known for its proficiency in the washing and dyeing processes and for collaborating with the biggest brands in the world. According to Bluesign CEO Daniel Rüfenacht, their incorporation into the Bluesign® system “reaffirms the significance of Bluesign in promoting sustainable practices in laundry and dyeing.” “We are thrilled to collaborate with the Stevanin family, and the LIM Group teams around the world as they support us in advancing our goal of enabling clean denim production everywhere.”

LIM Group is leading the charge to transform Italy’s textile manufacturing scene as the nation’s first partner for the bluesign® laundry system. The company’s usage of cutting-edge technologies is a natural fit with Bluesign®’s mission to minimize environmental effect and resource consumption.
