Levi Strauss & Co. Has welcomed David Marberger to its board of directors and audit committee, effective immediately. Marberger, currently the Executive Vice President and CFO for Conagra Brands, Inc., brings over 30 years of finance and leadership experience to the denim maker. His role at Conagra Brands involves overseeing the company’s finances and information technology functions.
Marberger has an extensive career history, having served as CFO at Prestige Brands, Godiva Chocolatier, and Tasty Baking Company. He spent a decade at Campbell Soup Company as well. His appointment to Levi’s board is seen as a valuable addition, given his expertise with prominent global brands.
Bob Eckert, Chairman of Levi Strauss board of directors, expressed confidence in Marberger’s contribution, stating that his experience will be invaluable as Levi Strauss enters its next phase of growth. Marberger holds an MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and a BBA from the University of Massachusetts.
