La Fantaisie, the luxury wedding couture label founded by celebrity designer Rachel J Amirtharaj, has announced the opening of its flagship atelier in Chennai. The new space introduces bespoke bridal gowns, reception couture and groom tuxedos to South India’s premium wedding market. Known for its handcrafted creations, the brand blends sculpted corsetry, intricate detailing and high-quality fabrics to craft garments that reflect each couple’s unique story.
Established in 2013 in New Delhi, La Fantaisie has built a strong reputation in luxury bridal fashion. The label is recognised for its couture gowns, white Christian wedding ensembles, statement reception wear, coordinated DUET couple collections and the SOVEREIGN groom suiting line. Each outfit is developed through personalised consultations and detailed fittings, ensuring a refined balance of elegance, emotion and individuality.
The Chennai atelier, located at AMARIS, 25 Church Road, Golden George Nagar, Mogappair East, operates on an appointment-only basis. It will offer comprehensive couture services including bridal wardrobe planning, groom styling and customised couple ensembles for both local and destination weddings.
