Reality TV star turned highly successful businesswoman, Kylie Jenner, has given her fans a glimpse of her upcoming venture, Khy, by launching a new Instagram account and website. Through an intriguing image featuring an oversized belted leather coat, she invited her vast following of 399 million on Instagram to sign up for updates regarding the impending launch.

It was previously rumored that the 26-year-old celebrity would be collaborating with the influential couple, Emma and Jens Grede, known for their involvement in brands like Good American by Khloe Kardashian and Skims by Kim Kardashian (Emma Grede is also a partner in Kris Jenner’s home brand, Safely). Although initial reports suggested that the business might adopt a fast fashion model similar to Shein, insiders have disclosed that the brand’s focus will be on luxury. Worth noting is Jenner’s earlier sale of a 51% stake in her cosmetics and skincare company, Kylie Cosmetics, which was renowned for its viral lip kits. Coty acquired this majority share in 2019 for a staggering $600 million. Following the release of the outfit post featuring the same coat on her Instagram feed, the image received over one million likes within the first hour. Amazon’s MGM Studios has acquired the rights to the book “Glossy” by journalist and author Marisa Meltzer, which delves into the meteoric rise of Glossier. This New York Times bestseller, released last month, delves into the mass millennial appeal of Glossier, a beauty blog turned disruptive skincare and cosmetics company founded by Emily Weiss. The book is described as “a compulsively readable narrative of beauty, business, privilege, and mogul-dom.” While it is rumored that Lindsey Anderson Beer and her production company LAB Brew are set to produce a series based on the book, no showrunner has been announced yet. Two iconic New York brands are joining forces to celebrate a significant milestone. NYC-based Hill House Home is partnering with the beloved Broadway show, Wicked, to commemorate the production’s 20th anniversary. To mark this occasion, Nell Diamond’s fashion and lifestyle brand will introduce two versions of its highly sought-after Nap Dress. The Glinda Ellie Nap Dress in pink stripe organza and the Elphaba Ellie Nap Dress in glitter tulle will be available in both adult and kids sizes. The pre-sale will be launched online, and the dresses will be available in-store at the Rockefeller Center. In addition to this exciting collaboration, Broadway stars Alyssa Fox (Elphaba) and McKenzie Kurtz (Glinda) have already been seen wearing these fashionable styles. The annual MAD Ball gala event honored prominent figures who have significantly contributed to culture and the Museum of Arts and Design (MAD). The event celebrated artist and designer Gaetano Pesce, historic preservationist Michael Bruno, the founder of 1stdibs, and Laura and Lewis Kruger, who are long-time supporters and MAD Board Chairman Emeritus. The honorees received awards created by artist and MAD Trustee Luam Melake. The ceremony, hosted by the iconic entertainer Justin Vivian Bond, featured short films about each honoree, directed by filmmaker Chiara Clemente. The event brought together notable personalities such as Sai de Silva, Tim Rodgers, Timo Weiland, Julia Haart, and many more.
