Intertextile Shenzhen, which attracted around 20,000 people from 45 countries and regions in 2024, will return to the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center (Futian) on June 11–13, 2025. With the addition of two new zones, Fashion Gallery and The Closet, and several unique product categories, the fair will provide a wealth of chances for industry participants from all points of the value chain to enhance their brands in South China’s constantly changing fashion scene.
“South China’s strong consumption and the emergence of local brands present unique opportunities for global suppliers, and Intertextile Shenzhen is the ideal platform to make a regional impact,” said Ms. Wilmet Shea, General Manager of Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd. The exhibition regularly draws a diverse range of attendees who are looking to source, find new suppliers, learn about trends, and investigate collaborations that may fuel future expansion. Customers are aware that this platform offers top global players in clothing materials and accessories, and its central Shenzhen location makes it more accessible and appealing.
Shenzhen is well located at the intersection of sourcing, production, and textile design. The city is energized by up-and-coming designers and well-known events like Shenzhen Fashion Week, and is home to more than 2,500 fashion labels, including top ladieswear brands Eeka, Ellassay, Marisfrolg, Yinger, and more. Intertextile Shenzhen 2025 is positioned as the perfect sourcing platform for trend-focused customers from all around China, ASEAN, and beyond thanks to its many ports and stations, ladieswear, casual wear, and practical sportswear, among other major items.
“This edition of Intertextile Shenzhen is better, as the location is different and the number and quality of visitors have increased,” said Mr. Jay Hwang, General Manager of SK Tex Co Ltd, who was exhibiting at the 2024 exhibition. The majority of attendees at this exhibition are Shenzhen-based firms. Voile is our primary fabric here; it’s utilized for party dresses, for instance, and a lot of customers have asked for it. Being part of the Korea Pavilion is better than in an individual booth. Customers may view the Korea Pavilion, learn about our origins, and get more interested.
Beyond business exchange: new zones at Intertextile Shenzhen 2025
In order to capitalize on the fashion scene in South China, the organizers have announced the opening of two new zones: The Closet and Fashion Gallery.
With a wide variety of products ranging from utilitarian sportswear and lingerie to ladieswear and casual wear, Fashion Gallery seeks to highlight the creative spirit of the fashion industry.
In addition to Fashion Gallery, The Closet will serve as a distinctive venue for clothing makers and fashion designers, encouraging networking and teamwork while exhibiting innovative designs. This hub aims to nurture creativity and innovation within the fashion industry by providing emerging designers with the resources, support, and visibility they need to thrive.
The Chinese government has recently expanded its visa-free policy to over 28 countries, including Andorra, Austria, Australia, Belgium, Cyprus, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Korea, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Monaco, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, and Switzerland.
