Indian fashion brand Beyoung is making a strategic move to expand its global footprint, announcing a partnership with leading e-commerce platform Noon.com to enter the Middle Eastern market. This collaboration marks a significant step in Beyoung’s ambitious growth plans, which include opening 300 stores worldwide over the next three years.
The partnership leverages Noon.com’s established presence in key markets like the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Saudi Arabia, and Egypt. This targeted approach allows Beyoung to tap into a large and growing consumer base in the region seeking “value for money and premium fashion,” as stated by Shivam Soni, CEO and founder of Beyoung.
Soni further emphasises the significance of this move, highlighting Beyoung’s goal to “make everyday fashion accessible to everyone, everywhere.” The expansion into the Middle East not only provides access to a new customer segment but also positions Beyoung as a major player in the global fashion market.
This strategic alliance comes on the heels of Beyoung’s earlier focus on strengthening its presence in the GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) and MENA (Middle East and North Africa) regions.
Aligning with E-commerce Boom
The partnership with Noon.com aligns perfectly with the growing trend of online fashion retail, particularly in India. With a projected D2C (direct-to-consumer) market reaching a staggering $100 billion by 2025, Beyoung is capitalising on the shift towards online shopping habits. This trend is further fueled by India’s young population, with many embracing Western-style clothing.
Building on a Strong Foundation
Founded in 2018, Beyoung has already established a successful presence in India with brick-and-mortar stores in Udaipur, Bhilwara, Kota, and Lucknow. The brand boasts a current Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) of Rs 200 crore and aims to achieve Rs 600 crore in the next three years. This partnership with Noon.com signifies Beyoung’s commitment to significant growth and its potential to become a major force in the global fashion landscape.
