The new women’s capsule collection that Circ, a portfolio company of Mills Fabrica with headquarters in Hong Kong, and Zara jointly launched is the first time recycled polyester and lyocell clothing made from poly cotton textile waste is made available to consumers, according to Circ.Lyocell clothing created with 50% recycled polycotton textile waste and polyester clothing made with 43% recycled polycotton textile waste are both included in the collection, which is now offered in 11 countries worldwide.
According to a joint press statement from Mills Fabrica and Zara, Circ’s revolutionary recycling technology the only platform that can successfully separate poly cotton mixed textile waste and recover both cellulosic and synthetic fibers.The line features on-trend, lightweight Burgundy clothing that is meant to be worn often, under the creative leadership of the Zara Woman design team.
Through its investments, incubation programs office spaces, a lab, and impact retail stores, The Mills Fabrica has sought to support innovative and disruptive technologies in tea techtyle (technology and apparel technology) since 2018.
