H&M, the renowned Swedish fashion brand, is set to open a new flagship store in Nottingham’s Victoria Centre mall this spring. The move involves relocating from its current Lister Gate store to occupy the former Topshop space, offering a prime lower mall location covering 2,177 sq m.
The expanded store in Nottingham will not only feature a comprehensive fashion range for women, men, and children but will also introduce H&M’s Home collection to the local market. This strategic move is part of H&M’s ongoing effort to revamp its flagship stores across the UK.
Victoria Centre, owned by property company SGS and asset-managed by Global Mutual, views H&M’s arrival as a significant addition to its diverse retail offerings. Nigel Wheatley, the director of Victoria Centre, expressed the commitment to providing shoppers with high-quality and affordable products. He sees H&M as a key player in shaping an exciting year for the mall, joining recent additions like Levi’s, which opened in November.
This new H&M store will share the retail space with established brands such as John Lewis, Next, Urban Outfitters, Superdry, River Island, and the recycled fashion retailer White Rose, contributing to the vibrant shopping experience in Nottingham.
