Gargi by P N Gadgil & Sons (PNGS) has expanded its retail network by expanding its presence in three Shop-in-Shop stores in various Shoppers Stop outlets in Bangalore on 7th, 8th, and 9th September 2023. This expansion marks its presence in 9 Shoppers Stop outlets and is a major leap in Gargi’s commitment to providing customers all over India with exceptional shopping experiences and a diverse range of high-quality fashion jewellery in brass and 92.5 sterling silver.
Opening these Shop-in-Shop stores in Bangalore marks Gargi’s foray outside the Maharashtra markets in a major way. It will bring Gargi’s unique and high-quality fashion jewellery closer to the customers in the region. These stores will also feature a wide range of products designed for the cosmopolitan nature of the audience in Bangalore. Through the rapid expansion of its network of company-operated shop-in-shop stores, Gargi has once again reiterated its commitment to quality and excellence, providing customers with an immersive shopping experience and expanding its Omnichannel strategy.
PNGS’s brand Gargi now has a presence in Shopper Stop stores through their Shop-in-Shop format. They currently have three stores in Mumbai, two in Pune, and one in Nashik. With three new stores in Bangalore, the total count of Shop-in-Shop format stores is now nine. They also have two flagship stores in Pune and a premier franchise outlet in Vashi, Mumbai.
Speaking about this, Aditya Modak, Co-founder of Gargi by PNGS, said, “We’re truly delighted to enter the Bangalore market through these three Shop-in-Shop stores at Shoppers Stop locations. This is a major part of our strategic expansion as a pan-India brand and yet another step toward bringing our offerings even closer to the hearts of our customers. We are focussing on rapidly expanding our retail network through various models, such as shop-in-shop outlets in collaboration with brands like Shoppers Stop, franchise-owned outlets, and company-owned exclusive stores. In the coming times, we are all set to enter all major states and cities across India.”
Gargi’s meteoric rise has tremendously impacted the largely unorganized fashion jewellery industry. With a strategic focus on growth, Gargi is on a fast track toward becoming a 100-crore company within the next two years. The company’s robust national expansion plan is a testament to its commitment to delivering excellence to its customers and its determination to set new benchmarks within the retail sector.
Gargi carries the rich legacy of the nearly 200-year-old PNGS brand into a new direction. It was founded to address the massive gap in the Indian fashion jewellery segment regarding high-quality designer artificial jewellery. Gargi is the first and the only brand to have revolutionized this space by emerging as a designer label for women-wearing pieces that complement their personalities. It made a dream IPO debut at the Bombay Stock Exchange towards the end of 2022.
Named after the ancient Indian female scholar from the Ramayana era, Gargi is also one of the names of Goddess Durga. Drawing from both, Gargi has created a diverse range of masterpieces that create an aura of the wearer being beautiful, honest, stylish, fearless, and scholarly. Based on the iconic P N Gadgil & Sons brand, an entity with over rupees 10,000 crores in annual turnover, Gargi has been maintaining similar levels of operational excellence, customer understanding, and quality.
As Gargi continues to unfold new chapters of success, it remains dedicated to providing its customers with innovative shopping solutions that match their evolving needs and aspirations. These store launches reflect Gargi’s vision to create a remarkable retail journey and fast-track growth ambition.
