Foot Locker reopened their shop on 34th Street in New York City on Thursday, revealing its new ‘Home Court’ retail concept, which was created in collaboration with Nike and Jordan Brand.
The new Foot Locker Home Court store, located at 112 West 34th Street, is a multi-brand basketball shopping destination in Manhattan. The Home Court idea includes both on-court and off-court merchandise from leading brands such as Nike and Jordan, as well as Adidas, Puma, New Balance, Under Armour, and others.
Inside, visitors will see a visually appealing setting with street-inspired basketball components, as well as immersive digital technologies such as ‘The Clinic Digital Experience,’ a self-initiated vertical leap challenge that allows customers to assess sneaker performance.
In addition, the store has measuring equipment that uses 3D scanning technology to assist clients in finding the best basketball product fit.
“Foot Locker ‘Home Court’ represents a pivotal advancement in how we connect with sneaker enthusiasts and elevate the basketball experience, in collaboration with our brand partners,” said Foot Locker, Inc. president and CEO Mary Dillon.
“Our reimagined 34th Street store aims to set the standard for excellence in omnichannel retail, in line with our Lace Up Plan and deeply rooted in sneaker culture.”
Furthermore, the renovated location will be the first to feature Kids Foot Locker’s new concept. The reinvented space is suitable for all age groups and parents and includes an engaging activity table to occupy children, as well as social areas for taking photos and documenting the sneaker purchasing experience.
“Our newly remodeled store represents Foot Locker’s continual evolution and demonstrates our leadership in sneaker and basketball culture.” With the introduction of our new Foot Locker ‘Home Court’ in partnership with Nike and Jordan Brand, this location sets a new benchmark,” stated Frank Bracken, EVP and Chief Commercial Officer of Foot Locker, Inc.
“We take immense pride in bringing this innovative experience to the heart of New York City, a space designed to serve families, inspire sneaker enthusiasts, and honor the spirit of basketball culture.”
Foot Locker has announced impending shop openings in Melbourne and Delhi, marking the company’s first location in India.
