According to a brand representative, designer Colm Dillane, whose line KidSuper won the LVMH Karl Lagerfeld Prize in 2021, has recently “embedded” with Louis Vuitton’s menswear studio to assist in creating the men’s collection, which will be unveiled on January 19.

Since the tragic death of designer Virgil Abloh in November 2021, Louis Vuitton has been without a men’s creative director. Instead of hastily appointing a successor, the brand has subsequently relied on Abloh’s tremendous legacy and the contributions of his studio staff and past colleagues including stylist Ib Kamara, scenic artist Lina Kutsovskaya, and music director Benji B to produce a number of memorial performances.

Regarding the potential announcement of a permanent creative director for menswear, Louis Vuitton declined to comment. According to the spokeswoman, Michel and Olivier Gondry, Kamara, Kutsoyskaya, and other filmmakers contributed to the next programme.
