The Crossword Book Awards 2024 brought together the literary community to honor the finest works of Indian literature. The most brilliant brains and well-liked personalities from the book and beyond were drawn to this magnificent gathering of literary genius, inventiveness, and celebration.
With a lavish celebration at The LaLiT Mumbai, the resuscitation of the renowned Crossword Book awards offered a forum to celebrate the written word in all of its manifestations, encompassing a wide range of genres and styles. It created the perfect setting for deep discussion and interaction between writers, publishers, and readers nationwide. The event also included thought-provoking keynote speeches by well-known authors and lively discussions that shed light on India’s constantly changing storytelling scene.
Along with renowned guest speaker Prahlad Kakkar and presenters Bachi Karkaria, Anupama Chopra, and Cyrus Broacha, the event featured a wide range of important figures from the Indian literary community, including luminaries like Twinkle Khanna, Ankur Warikoo, Kanan Gill, Sanjeev Sanyal, and Gaur Gopal Das. Honors were given in six different categories: Translations, Business & Management, Mind, Body & Spirit, Children’s Books, Non-Fiction, and Fiction. A really remarkable evening was created by the event, which also honored outstanding accomplishments with the coveted Lifetime Achievement Award and the Crossword Bestseller Award 2024.
