CHINA WAVE will return to Florence for its fifth consecutive appearance at Pitti Uomo 110, reinforcing the growing international influence of Chinese fashion and design culture.

Held at the historic Fortezza da Basso, this edition of Pitti Uomo is themed “The Pool” and brings together more than 700 brands from across the global menswear and lifestyle sectors. The concept explores themes of identity, reflection, authenticity, and cultural transformation.

Since its debut at Pitti Uomo 106 in 2024, CHINA WAVE, supported by the China National Garment Association, has evolved into a long-term platform dedicated to presenting Chinese fashion as a creative force rather than solely a manufacturing powerhouse.

For the first time, CHINA WAVE will occupy a prime location within the exhibition’s central area, positioned directly opposite the event’s signature “The Pool” installation and alongside leading international luxury and contemporary fashion brands. The move reflects the increasing recognition of Chinese design culture within the global fashion ecosystem.

This season’s showcase features six brands representing diverse expressions of contemporary Chinese creativity:

  • SEPTWOLVES – contemporary menswear combining design, retail expertise, and global brand development.
  • SWOF CARE – a headwear label blending artisanal craftsmanship with nature-inspired storytelling.
  • ZIFEI WANG – known for avant-garde silhouettes, gender-fluid aesthetics, and retro-futurist influences.
  • SOARIN – reinterpreting vintage fashion through a modern lens.
  • SOARIN WORLD – merging traditional Chinese cultural references with contemporary design.
  • KIMUSSO – combining avant-garde womenswear, sustainability, workwear influences, and couture craftsmanship.

The platform’s presence at Pitti Uomo reflects a broader shift within China’s fashion industry. Increasingly, brands are exporting not only products but also design philosophies, cultural narratives, and distinctive brand identities.

By bringing together buyers, retailers, department stores, and international media, CHINA WAVE aims to highlight the creativity, cultural depth, and global relevance of a new generation of Chinese fashion brands.

As the global fashion landscape continues to evolve, CHINA WAVE is positioning itself as a key bridge between Chinese design culture and the international premium and luxury fashion market. Its fifth participation at Pitti Uomo underscores the growing role of Chinese creativity as an independent and influential force within the global fashion industry.
