CeraVe Launches ‘Derm On-The-Go’ to Make Dermatology Accessible Across India

CeraVe, the #1 dermatologist-recommended skincare brand in the US, has launched ‘Derm On-The-Go’—a unique initiative that brings dermatologist consultations directly to Indian consumers, with a special focus on college students.

In response to India’s low dermatologist-to-consumer ratio (0.7 per 100,000 people), the campaign aims to reach over 6,000 individuals across more than 100 colleges and corporate spaces within a year. This initiative is a part of CeraVe’s commitment to democratizing skin health by delivering science-backed skincare advice through in-person and digital experiences.

The program debuted in Mumbai, featuring CeraVans (mobile clinics) and CeraKiosks (stationary booths) on college campuses, offering free one-on-one skin consultations. After successfully engaging over 15,000 visitors and conducting more than 1,500 consultations in Mumbai and Delhi, the next stop is Bengaluru.

“Many people unknowingly harm their skin following trends rather than expert advice,” said Dr. Siddhi Tiwari, MD DNB Dermatology. “This initiative is vital—it provides access to real dermatological support in comfortable, familiar environments.”

Beyond in-person efforts, the initiative extends to digital platforms like Instagram and YouTube, where dermatologists and influencers will share myth-busting skincare content and foster informed conversations around skin health.

Having launched in India in 2023, CeraVe is known for its dermatologist-developed formulas that include three essential ceramides and MVE technology, which restore the skin barrier and offer long-lasting hydration.
