On March 1, 2025, Singapore’s first all-villa resort, Raffles Sentosa Singapore, will open under the direction of hospitality veteran Cavaliere Giovanni Viterale. Launching the next chapter of the legendary Raffles brand on Sentosa, Singapore’s “island in the city,” Cavaliere Giovanni brings a wealth of experience accumulated over 36 years in the hospitality industry.
Set in more than 100,000 square meters of expansive tropical gardens with views of the South China Sea, Raffles Sentosa Singapore will have 62 villas, each with a private pool and terrace area.

Since early 2010, Cavaliere Giovanni has served as the General Manager of The Fullerton Hotels and Resorts (FHR). He was crucial in directing the development and strategic direction of the Fullerton Heritage Precinct, which is home to seven landmarks: The Hotel Fullerton

Cavaliere Giovanni received the Order of the Star of Italy (Ordine Della Stella D’Italia) in August 2016. Italians living abroad or foreigners who have demonstrated exceptional merit in fostering friendship, collaboration, and scientific and cultural ties with Italy are eligible to receive the honorary award.
