Casio India has introduced ‘Vintage Verse’ in Mumbai, an immersive brand experience highlighting the evolution of its renowned Vintage collection. The showcase reflects the brand’s ‘Future Classics’ philosophy, blending timeless design with contemporary cultural expression.
The experience emphasises that iconic design transcends time by continuously evolving with each generation. Rather than being rooted in nostalgia, Casio’s Vintage line is positioned as a forward-looking symbol of enduring style and individuality.
Designed as a multi-sensory journey, Vintage Verse featured three distinct thematic spaces. The Retro Futuristic zone drew inspiration from 1980s sci-fi aesthetics with bold structures and metallic elements. The Retro Modern space reimagined a vintage living room with a contemporary twist, combining nostalgic décor with modern design sensibilities. Meanwhile, the Retro Classic zone evoked timeless sophistication through a refined, heritage-inspired setting.
Speaking at the event, Takuto Kimura noted that the Vintage collection has evolved beyond functionality to become a cultural symbol, shaped by individuals who reinterpret its design across generations.
The evening included media interactions, an experiential walkthrough of the installations, and a brand address reflecting on Casio’s journey in India. The showcase concluded with a live vinyl session, reinforcing the brand’s connection with music, creativity, and community.
