Boat, a manufacturer of wearables and electrical accessories, has teamed up with Mappls MapmyIndia, a high-tech digital mapping company, to introduce its first smartwatch featuring navigation capabilities. The “Storm Call 3” is now available on several multi-brand platforms as well as Boat’s direct-to-consumer online store.

According to a press statement from the company, Boat hopes to expand the accessibility of navigation services with the debut of its new smartwatch by offering a “budget-friendly” price point. The smartwatch has over 700 activity modes, BT calling capabilities, and an SOS feature. It is made in India.

The company released a press statement stating, “The Storm Call 3, another innovation by Boat, brings state-of-the-art technology within the grasp of every individual.” You won’t need to check your smartphone for navigation instructions thanks to the autonomous navigation technology built into this smartwatch. The Storm Call 3 is equipped with Mappls MapmyIndia and Boat’s Crest App to provide accurate turn-by-turn navigation on your wrist. It covers tens of thousands of cities and lakhs of villages throughout India, providing you with precise and comprehensive doorstep-level guidance.
