BE GREEN HEROES, in collaboration with Clean Recycling Initiative and HEAT-MX, has announced the International True Sustainability Competition (ITSC) 2026, a global student-focused initiative aimed at promoting science-based environmental awareness and sustainability communication.

Formerly known as the International Sustainability Marketing Competition (ISMC), the initiative returns for its fourth edition with a renewed format and expanded digital integration, including Web3-based recognition for participants and winners.

The ITSC 2026 invites post-secondary students from around the world to develop campaigns addressing environmental misinformation and promoting scientifically grounded sustainability narratives. The programme seeks to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world environmental communication challenges.

Building on the success of ISMC 2024, which engaged nearly 1,500 students from 702 institutions across 120 countries, the competition has evolved into a larger global platform designed to increase participation and impact.

According to Sae Chang, the 2026 edition integrates enhanced learning experiences through the organisation’s “LEARN. EARN. ACT.” framework. Participants will have access to educational resources, certification opportunities, and Green Hero Coins (GHC), which are expected to be issued following the official platform launch.

The programme also introduces Web3-based recognition systems for registrants, competitors, and winners, alongside monetary prizes for selected participants. Organisers state that the initiative is designed to strengthen engagement through science-based education and digital reward mechanisms.

BE GREEN HEROES also indicated that participation opportunities may expand in the future to include high school students and the general public, broadening the competition’s global reach.

Multiple information sessions will be conducted across different time zones to support international participation, with full details available via the organisation’s official website.
