ASICS Joins Tata Steel World 25K Kolkata
Japanese sportswear brand ASICS has partnered with the Tata Steel World 25K Kolkata.
The brand will serve as the event’s Official Sports Goods Partner. This marks ASICS’ first association with the World Athletics Gold Label 25K event.
At the same time, ASICS has launched its ASICS Running Club (ARC) in Kolkata. The move brings the brand’s running community platform to East India for the first time.
ASICS Running Club Launches in Kolkata
ARC operates across several major Indian cities. The platform offers structured training programmes, group runs and coaching support.
It welcomes runners across different experience levels. Now, the Kolkata launch will give local runners access to a year-round community.
The club will provide opportunities to train, connect and improve together. Therefore, its activities will extend beyond individual races and events.
ASICS to Engage Runners at 25K Event
The 11th edition of the Tata Steel World 25K Kolkata will take place on 20 December 2026.
Thousands of runners are expected to participate in the event. Meanwhile, ASICS will engage with runners through several activities.
As Official Sports Goods Partner, the brand will organise promotional runs. It will also create an immersive presence at the PLAYSCAPE Expo.
In addition, ASICS will host the ASICS House on race day. ASICS athletes and Running Club coaches will interact with participants there.
They will also support runners throughout the event.
