Amway India, in partnership with the Nourishing Schools Foundation, has launched its School Nutrition Education Program under the flagship Power of 5 (Po5) initiative. Rolled out in 12 schools across Delhi and Chennai, the program aims to reach over 12,000 beneficiaries, including 3,000 children, in its first year.

Launched during National Nutrition Week with the theme Eat Right for a Better Life, the initiative focuses on building nutrition literacy, healthy eating habits, and community awareness. At the event, Amway India’s MD Rajneesh Chopra emphasized the importance of early interventions, noting that poor nutrition continues to affect every second adolescent in India.

The program will run for 12 months, using a specially designed nutrition toolkit with games, visual aids, and activities to make learning engaging. It also trains teachers, encourages volunteer participation, and empowers students to influence family and community health.

Aligned with Viksit Bharat 2047, Amway envisions equipping children with the knowledge to become advocates of healthy living, creating ripple effects across generations. Archana Sinha, Co-founder of Nourishing Schools Foundation, highlighted schools as powerful platforms for shaping lifelong health choices.

This initiative reflects Amway India’s broader mission to promote health, wellbeing, and sustainable community impact through evidence-led interventions and grassroots partnerships.
