84th National Garment Fair Receives Strong Exhibitor Response

The Clothing Manufacturers Association of India (CMAI) has received a strong response for its 84th National Garment Fair (NGF). The event will take place in February 2027 and bring together apparel manufacturers, brands and retailers.

The fair is a key platform for sourcing, business and networking. This edition will help retailers discover new collections for the Spring/Summer 2027 season.

920 Exhibitors and 1,010 Brands to Participate

The 84th NGF will feature 920 exhibitors, 1,010 brands and 1,050 stalls. The event will cover around 41,000 square metres at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Mumbai.

The fair will take place across two periods:

  • Men’s, Kids & Accessories: 1st to 3rd February 2027
  • Women’s Wear: 8th to 10th February 2027

The event will feature a wide range of apparel categories. Kids’ Wear will lead with 382 exhibitors. Women’s Wear will have 280 exhibitors, while Men’s Wear will feature 244. Meanwhile, the Accessories segment will include 13 exhibitors.

Fair Supports Apparel Trade and Sourcing

The strong booking response highlights the fair’s importance to India’s apparel industry. Manufacturers and brands will be able to present their latest collections. In turn, retailers and buyers can explore products and build business relationships before the new season.

Santosh Katariya, President, CMAI, said, “The Indian domestic apparel industry continues to offer significant growth opportunities, supported by the expansion of organised retail and the growing aspirations of consumers across markets. While cost pressures and changing consumption patterns remain important considerations for businesses, the industry continues to adapt through product innovation, sharper merchandising and a stronger focus on market needs.”

Rohit Munjal, Vice President, CMAI & Chairman – Fair Sub-Committee, said, “The overwhelming stall booking response is a strong endorsement of the platform and the value it delivers to the apparel trade. With strong participation across categories, the fair will provide participating brands with an opportunity to strengthen business relationships with retailers and showcase their latest collections for the upcoming season.”

A Key Event for Spring/Summer 2027

With strong participation across categories, the 84th National Garment Fair will connect key players in India’s apparel industry. It will also give retailers and buyers an opportunity to source products for the coming season.

As businesses prepare for Spring/Summer 2027, the fair will support new business connections, collection discovery and industry engagement.
