Anveshanam Foundation is a young organisation, established three years ago, inspired by over 45 years of experience in societal development, community engagement, and building meaningful partnerships.
The Foundation was created to bring together sustainability, livelihood generation, inclusion, and Universal Human Values into an integrated approach that enables individuals, families, and communities to flourish with dignity, responsibility, and self-reliance.
We believe that while skills create opportunities, values create lasting transformation. Sustainable development is most effective when people are empowered not only to earn a livelihood but also to build harmonious relationships, make responsible choices, and contribute positively to society and the environment.

To nurture self-reliant, compassionate, and environmentally responsible communities where every individual has the opportunity to learn, earn with dignity, and live in harmony with self, family, society, and nature.
Our Mission
To collaborate with NGOs, companies, educational institutions, community groups, and individuals to create sustainable livelihoods, promote eco-friendly practices, and integrate Universal Human Values into every aspect of development.
Our Areas of Work
- Sustainable livelihoods through hand spinning, hand weaving, hand and machine sewing, quilting, natural dyeing, hand printing, hand embroideries, and other crafts.
- Eco-friendly production using pre-consumer textile waste and other natural and sustainable materials.
- Skill development for women, youth, tribal communities, rural communities, and urban slum communities.
- Product development, packaging, labelling, certification, entrepreneurship, market access for persons with disabilities, etc.
- Formation and strengthening of artisan clusters and Self-Help Groups (SHGs).
- Social, ethical, and relationship-based marketing.
- Support for product quality and relevant certifications.
Universal Human Values
At the heart of our work is the understanding that lasting social change begins with human values.
Universal Human Values foster trust, mutual respect, empathy, responsibility, cooperation, integrity, and harmony. They strengthen individuals, families, workplaces, organisations, and communities, creating an environment where sustainable development can truly thrive.
We offer workshops, orientation programmes, and experiential learning that help participants understand and practise these values in their personal lives, workplaces, and communities.
