BIODERMA, a skincare brand from the NAOS group, has introduced its new #WontLetAcneWin campaign during Acne Awareness Month, aiming to highlight the emotional challenges associated with acne and encourage young consumers to approach skincare with confidence and informed care.
The campaign draws attention to what BIODERMA describes as “Acne Exile”—the subtle ways acne can influence everyday behaviour, from avoiding photographs and social media interactions to skipping events and withdrawing from social situations.
According to the brand, acne often affects more than skin health, influencing confidence, self-expression, and participation in daily experiences. Through the campaign, BIODERMA seeks to spark conversations around these often-overlooked emotional effects.
Commenting on the initiative, Roshan Kunder, Director Marketing, eCommerce & Modern Trade, NAOS India, said:
“Acne is far more than a skin condition; it’s quietly shaping how young Indians show up in their everyday lives. With #WontLetAcneWin, BIODERMA is addressing a side of acne that often goes unspoken: the emotional toll, the moments missed, and the confidence deferred. Our campaign doesn’t just acknowledge ‘Acne Exile’; it challenges it. At NAOS, by combining dermatological expertise with barrier-respecting care through our Sébium Anti Acne range, we’re empowering consumers to face acne right and reclaim the moments that matter. Because confidence shouldn’t be conditional, and skin health shouldn’t come at the cost of comfort. This Acne Awareness Month, BIODERMA stands with young India to say: your acne won’t define your choices. You will.”
At the centre of the campaign is a digital film portraying real-life scenarios where acne influences personal decisions and self-confidence. By highlighting these experiences, BIODERMA aims to encourage greater awareness of acne’s emotional impact while promoting healthy skincare habits.
The campaign also features the brand’s Sébium range, including the Sébium Gel Moussant Cleanser and Sébium Hydra Moisturiser, products developed to support the daily needs of acne-prone skin while maintaining skin comfort and barrier health.
Through #WontLetAcneWin, BIODERMA reinforces its commitment to helping consumers manage acne with balanced, dermatological care and encouraging them not to let skin concerns limit their confidence or experiences.
