By 2025, the business hopes to build a ₹220 crore apparel plant in Bhubaneswar, India, which will employ over 6,000 people.

A major player in the Hong Kong apparel market Epic Group intends to open its first clothing factory in India after purchasing 40 acres of property in Bhubaneswar for the production facility.

The diversified professional services and investment management firm Colliers India has been tasked by the group with establishing the manufacturing facility, which is estimated to be worth ₹220 crore, in the IDCO Industrial Estate in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. It is anticipated that the first phase will be finished by May 2025.

Being a pioneer in sustainable design, growing our business in India was an obvious next step, considering the nation’s skilled labor force and proficiency in the textile industry. With Colliers as our partners, I do not doubt that we will create a top-notch facility that raises the bar for the production of ethically and ecologically conscious clothing. Odisha is the perfect place for this major investment because of its advantageous location and pro-business atmosphere.
