Bershka, part of the global retail giant Inditex, has officially entered Bengaluru with the launch of its new store at Phoenix Mall of Asia, marking a strategic expansion in the Indian market.

Targeted at a young, trend-conscious audience, Bershka positions itself as a bridge between mainstream fashion and emerging subcultures. The brand integrates fashion with music, digital culture, and social influence, creating a lifestyle-driven retail identity that resonates with Gen Z consumers.

The Bengaluru store introduces all three of Bershka’s key product lines: BSK Teen, aimed at younger audiences influenced by digital platforms and pop culture, and Bershka Women and Men, designed for confident, expressive consumers engaged with fashion, music, and social trends.

Spanning over 665 sq. metres, the store reflects a contemporary retail concept focused on fluid navigation and immersive experiences. The layout blends architectural elements with strategic product displays, enhancing customer interaction and visual storytelling. Notably, the store eliminates traditional billing counters, featuring eight self-checkout stations, including an accessible unit, to streamline the shopping journey.

A standout feature is the 15.40-metre façade, designed to create a strong visual identity while seamlessly connecting with the store’s interior aesthetics. The open ceiling concept and cohesive material palette further reinforce the brand’s modern retail approach.

Alongside the physical store, Bershka continues to strengthen its omnichannel presence through its online platform, offering access to all collections with added conveniences such as in-store pick-up and loyalty benefits.

The launch also introduces the BERSHKA MMBRS programme, offering cashback incentives, exclusive access to collections, and personalised rewards, enhancing customer engagement both online and offline.

With this expansion, Inditex strengthens its footprint in India, where it already operates multiple stores across brands such as Zara and Massimo Dutti, reinforcing its commitment to innovation, customer experience, and sustainable growth in the region.
