CMAI’s 83rd National Garment Fair Opens in Mumbai

The Clothing Manufacturers Association of India (CMAI) inaugurated the 83rd edition of the National Garment Fair (NGF), bringing together the Womenswear and Menswear segments across two venues in Mumbai from July 13 to 15, 2026. The Womenswear exhibition is being held at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Goregaon, while the Menswear segment is taking place at the MMRDA Grounds, BKC, Bandra.

The fair was inaugurated by Guests of Honour Rohit Kedia, Baazar Style Retail Ltd. (Style Bazaar), Kolkata; Pankaj Mirchandani, G. Sachanand/Kalamandir, Indore; and Divesh Malve, Taruni Clothing Pvt. Ltd., Hyderabad, in the presence of CMAI office bearers, managing committee members, exhibitors and retailers.

Recognised as one of India’s largest B2B apparel sourcing events, the fair serves as a key platform for retailers and manufacturers ahead of the festive and wedding season. Spread across more than 40,000 sq. metres, this edition features over 960 brands, including 600+ womenswear brands, 345 menswear brands and 45 accessories brands, showcased through 560+ womenswear stalls and 330+ menswear stalls. The event is also hosting 284 pan-India platinum buyers, who are being offered dedicated facilities.

The womenswear showcase includes brands such as AANCHALS, JUNIPER, SCAKHI, STOCK OUT, A-LA-MODE, ANORA & SARISHA, MAAND, ESIKA, DRESSLINE, MOJILLA, ANVITA/CELEBRATION/ANAYA, DIYA DESIGN STUDIO, AMCHOOR, FLO, FOCUS JEANS, GLOBAL BALIKA, GOLANI LIFESTYLE, LIVA (GRASIM), LA FILLE, INNAYA, 123/AAA PLUS/INIA/LOVE U, MAITRI, RAVIRAA, ZOLA, ELE BELLE, REDROSE, INLOOK, and RA-REATRA/GURMAYA/AANCHI, among others. The menswear section features leading names including TURTLE, WAVES/ORCHID/WHETHER/BLACK, WINE/ARISTO PLUS, AVEGA, AZZURRO/VOGARTINO, SPYRAL, TORSO/TALETA/VITUDA/TERRAZO, ORION, ORCHID STYLE, ZANAAB ETHNIC WEAR, RE CHANNEL, AEBBE, RED & WHITE, SAVRIYA and MILAN.

The exhibition has attracted retailers, wholesalers, distributors and trade buyers from across India, along with international visitors from the UAE, Fiji, Australia, Bangladesh, China, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Kuwait, Malaysia, Mauritius, Albania and Sri Lanka. By showcasing the latest festive collections, the fair aims to create new opportunities for sourcing, networking, business expansion and long-term partnerships.

Speaking at the inauguration, Santosh Katariya, President, CMAI, said, “The Indian apparel market is looking at a steady growth trajectory driven by consumption in tier 2 and tier 3 cities. In addition, e-commerce is enabling deeper penetration of regional brands and latest collections across India. The NGF has come around at an exciting time, where it will help speed up this process by bringing together the country’s leading apparel brands, enabling retailers to source the latest collections and forge partnerships with manufacturers for one of the most important retail seasons of the year.”

Rohit Kedia, Baazar Style Retail Ltd. (Style Bazaar), Kolkata, said, “When we launched Style Bazaar, the vision was to make affordable fashion accessible to every household in India, to bring it to their doorstep. Pankaj Mirchandani, G. Sachanand/Kalamandir, Indore also commented, “I thank CMAI from the bottom of my heart for recognizing our journey and giving us this distinction today. I still remember our first time at the fair in the year 2000, when we were new to garmenting. From then until now, CMAI has been a guiding light for us. The inauguration was attended by Santosh Katariya, President, CMAI; Rohit Munjal, Vice President & Chairman, Fair Sub-Committee; Ankur Gadia, Vice President; Anand Chokshi, Joint Chairman, Fair Sub-Committee; Paresh Vora, Hon. Treasurer; Mukesh Jain, Hon. Joint General Secretary; Dinesh Nandu, Hon. Joint Treasurer; Rahul Mehta, Chief Mentor; along with members of the CMAI Managing Committee and industry leaders.

To facilitate seamless movement during the event, CMAI has introduced dedicated shuttle services connecting the exhibition venues and key transit points. Car shuttle services are available between NESCO and Goregaon Railway Station (East), NESCO and the MMRDA Grounds, Jio Garden Parking and the MMRDA Grounds, as well as between Hall 1 and Hall 2 at the MMRDA venue. A dedicated BEST bus service is also operating between Bandra Railway Station (East) and the MMRDA Grounds throughout the three-day exhibition.

Having successfully completed 82 editions, the National Garment Fair continues to strengthen its position as India’s premier B2B apparel trade fair, providing a dedicated platform for sourcing, networking and business growth across the apparel industry.
