CHIC Shanghai Spring 2026 Showcases Global Fashion Innovation

The Spring edition of CHIC Shanghai – China International Fashion Fair will be held at the National Exhibition & Convention Center (NECC), bringing together leading brands, designers, and buyers from across the global fashion industry. With 1,091 exhibitors representing 1,135 brands from eight countries and regions, the event spans 117,200 square metres and is expected to attract more than 160,000 trade visitors.

Participating countries include Italy, Germany, France, Japan, Korea, Australia, India, and Hong Kong, reinforcing the fair’s position as one of Asia’s most influential fashion trade platforms. Alongside established Chinese companies such as Shanshan Group, Rongchen, and JCJ, the exhibition will showcase international brands presenting their latest collections.

Major retail groups and fashion buyers are expected to attend, including representatives from JD.com, Douyin, SHEIN, Beijing SKP, and retail groups such as Hengyuanxiang Group and Shanghai Garment Group. Shopping mall operators including MixC World, Hopson One, Kerry Center, Longfor, and INCITY will also use the fair as a platform for sourcing and networking.

Comprehensive Exhibition Segments

CHIC Spring 2026 is organised into 13 specialised exhibition segments, reflecting the diversity of the global fashion value chain. These include CHIC Women’s, Chinese Style, CHIC Winter’s, CHIC Accessories, Outdoor & Sports, Denim World, CHIC KIDZ, Digital Fashion, CHIC Worldwide, PH Value, CHIC Impulses, CHIC Men’s, and CHIC Young Blood.

Hall 1.1 focuses on womenswear through the CHIC Women’s segment, presenting a mix of commercial and design-driven collections aimed at retailers and online platforms. The Chinese Style segment highlights contemporary fashion inspired by traditional Chinese cultural elements, blending heritage techniques with modern design aesthetics.

Hall 2.1 brings together categories such as outerwear, accessories, footwear, and leather goods, while the CHIC Matching platform facilitates targeted business meetings between brands, buyers, and distributors. Accessories and leather goods remain among the fastest-growing segments in China’s fashion retail market.

Lifestyle Segments and Digital Innovation

Hall 3 showcases emerging lifestyle segments including Outdoor & Sports, reflecting the growing popularity of functional fashion and activewear. The Denim World segment highlights innovations in materials and sustainable denim production, while CHIC KIDZ focuses on children’s fashion, a category experiencing rising demand in China.

The Digital Fashion segment explores technology-driven developments such as virtual fashion, digital design tools, and new retail technologies. Meanwhile, the CHIC Worldwide section offers international brands a gateway to connect with distributors and retailers in the Chinese market.

Among the international highlights is the Italian Pavilion, featuring twelve exhibitors showcasing Italian craftsmanship and design expertise, including brands such as Anneclaire, Cinzia Caldi, and Pango 1974.

Menswear, Emerging Designers, and Creative Concepts

Hall 4.1 features CHIC Men’s, presenting classic and contemporary menswear collections, alongside CHIC Impulses, a platform dedicated to emerging designers and innovative fashion concepts. The hall will also host CHIC Shows, where selected brands present their collections on the runway.

The North Hall is dedicated to CHIC Young Blood, a space highlighting young labels, streetwear brands, and new lifestyle concepts designed to attract retailers seeking fresh creative perspectives.

Featured Brands and Industry Leaders

Among the notable participants is CANOTWAIT_, a contemporary streetwear label founded by actor William Chan, blending art, outdoor lifestyle, and urban culture.

Other highlights include RUNXI, a specialist in knitted women’s foundation wear with over two decades of expertise, and Fabrique, a global designer collective that continues expanding internationally.

The jewellery brand JCJ will present fashion jewellery collections, while the renowned menswear label Shanshan, founded in Ningbo in 1989 and the first Chinese menswear brand listed on the A-share market, will return to CHIC after a two-year absence.

Industry Programs and Networking Platforms

In addition to the exhibition, CHIC Shanghai offers a comprehensive industry programme featuring fashion shows, business matchmaking sessions, and expert discussions.

The event will include five CHIC Shows, six CHIC Matching sessions connecting exhibitors with 134 invited buyers, and ten CHIC Talk sessions focusing on key developments in the global fashion sector.

A major highlight scheduled for March 12 is the panel discussion titled “A New Global Coordinate — Chinese Brands Going Global and Engaging with the World,” which will explore the international expansion of Chinese fashion brands.

As one of the world’s largest fashion markets, China continues to play a critical role in global apparel manufacturing and retail. With consumers placing increasing importance on brand identity, design, and lifestyle-driven fashion, industry platforms such as CHIC Shanghai have become vital spaces for international collaboration.

Through its combination of global participation, specialised exhibition zones, and strategic industry dialogue, CHIC Shanghai Spring 2026 continues to strengthen its role as a central hub for fashion business development and international networking.
